Speaker Bio: David Van Nuys, Ph.D.
 David Van Nuys, Ph.D. is Emeritus Prof. of Psychology, Sonoma State University where he was Chair for 7 years. He has taught at the Univ. of Montana, Univ. of Michigan, and Univ. of New Hampshire. His market research company (www.e-focusgroups.com) has served such distinguished clients as The New York Times, Apple Computer and IBM. He's been on the boards of the Qualitative Research Consultants Assn. and the Humanistic Psychology Division of the APA. He received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the Univ. of Michigan and practiced therapy in both California and New Hampshire.
He leads personal growth workshops at growth centers, nationally and internationally. David has written scores of articles and reviews for a variety of professional and popular publications. He co-authored the book, "This is the Zodiac speaking: Into the mind of a serial killer," in which he profiles the murderer in this famous, unsolved case. HBO picked up an option on the book for a possible mini-series.
