Privacy Policy
Information received during the registration process or when subscribing to our email newsletter is strictly confidential and is never sold, viewed, traded or distributed in any manner to any other party.
TNC New Media collects personal information during the registration process such as name, mailing address, email address and credit card or other payment information in order to collect registration fees and produce entrance badges for attendees.
For those registered attendees that opt-in via a checkbox on the registration form, we allow exhibiting companies to provide printed literature or email content to us, which is mailed via the United States Post Office or emailed to attendees by the Expo on their behalf. The mailings and e-mailings are done through the Expo which NEVER reveals any of your personal information to a 3rd party. The mailing party simply sends all literature or email content to the New Media Expo which then mails or e-mails the information to the registered attendees on the exhibitor's behalf. However, all registrants are given the option during registration to remove their name and all contact information from such mailings.
Email newsletter subscribers' email addresses are held in strict confidence and are never sold, rented or distributed in any manner to any other party. Users may unsubscribe at any time from a clearly marked automatic unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter. The "To" field always contains the subscriber's email address, allowing subscribers to easily unsubscribe the proper email address.
The "Participating Companies" page allows website visitors to request information from companies sponsoring or exhibiting at the Expo. The contact information you submit on that form is sent directly to that company. Once that information has been submitted, TNC New Media has no control over what that company does with that information. You are encouraged to check the privacy policy of the companies you request information from prior to submitting your contact information to them via that form.
Attendees at the show may wish to have exhibitors "scan" their entrance badges at the exhibitors' booth to collect their personal information such as name, address, phone number and email. The exhibitor may then follow-up with attendees after the Expo with direct mail, phone calls or email messages. Once an attendee badge is scanned, TNC New Media no longer has control of what the exhibitor may do with their personal information. Attendees are encouraged to check with individual exhibitors regarding their specific privacy policies when their badge is scanned at a booth.
